Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing healthcare facilities or government projects, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of the complexities involved in commercial construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, tailored specifically for healthcare construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure all project specifications are met.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and building codes.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to keep projects within financial constraints.
- Create and manage project schedules, adjusting timelines as necessary to accommodate changes and unforeseen circumstances.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns.
- Identify potential issues early and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on healthcare projects or government projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations and standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., ProCore, MS Project, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
